Community 2.0 has been hosting an Earth Month Ecochallenge this April and we are pleased with our combined impact! We have 37 participants and have accumulated 2090 points just for making the world a better place to live! C 2.0 is now in the top 100 teams!
This call to ACTION is a great way to encourage us all to transform our lifestyles to address the climate crisis, one ACTION at time. There's still time to join us! The challenge goes all month and the Monday Momentum meetings will be held weekly at 4:30pm throughout April, followed by an afterparty in May. Whoever has earned the most points will win a prize at the meeting!

Coffee & Climate Crisis
An urgent need exists to inform, engage and mobilize the public about the environmental crisis. The natural environment that sustains human life is being destroyed. Only 12 years remain before wide-scale and irreversible damage is done, says the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The world is changing at an exponential pace and is at a turning point. If we do not shift to sustainable business practices and personal lifestyles, many people will be further imperiled by: drought, flooding, extreme heat and increased poverty in the immediate future.
