Event Details
NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS AT 4 PM Pacific/7 PM Eastern Time.
This event is part of the #30DaysofScience online 2021 Cambridge (Massachusetts) Science Festival! In this hour-long event, Joan Horvath and Rich Cameron of Nonscriptum LLC will give a mini-course on using the free, open-source CAD program OpenSCAD. They'll talk about how they have used it to create math and science models, and lessons learned trying to teach in 3D. Participants are encouraged to download the free, open-source program OpenSCAD ahead of time from www.openscad.org so they can follow along.
This event will be aimed at science and math teachers at all levels, but Pasadena 3D Printing meetup members are welcome as well! (Cambridge Science Festival attendees need to first join the meetup and register for the event.)
A Zoom link will be posted here for those registered on the day of the event. Please contact the organizers through Meetup messaging with questions or any special requirements.
